Valentines Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

This year I wanted to make my Valentine feel extra special by making him some heart-themed treats. First up are these chocolate covered pretzels with sea salt, just in time for this spirited holiday. Just like our relationship, it is the perfect combo. Feel free to use white chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or a mixture of your favorites!!

Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

Ingredients:
  • 4 cups thin pretzels twists
  • 8 oz. Bakers baking chocolate squares (or any melting chocolate, start away from standard chocolate chips, which are not meant for dipping)
  • Sea salt

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a microwave safe bowl, break up the chocolate bars into small pieces so they melt easily. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Remove and stir for about a minute. The chocolate will melt as you continue to stir. Cook for an additional 10 seconds if needed.

Take a pretzel and dip into the chocolate, covering it about half way. Shake the pretzel a bit to remove any excess chocolate.

Place the pretzel on the parchment paper lined baking sheet. Immediately cover the chocolate with a sprinkle of salt before the chocolate hardens.  Continue to do this until all of your pretzels have been decorated. Refrigerate for 10 minutes and enjoy!!!

**You could also swap out the sea salt for sprinkles if you prefer.
