Spicy Green Beans

As my boyfriend and I perused the grocery store for dinner without a plan, we quickly came to realize that we wanted everything in sight. But we suck to or non plan-plan and got only the essentials. While we enjoy grilling zucchini and eggplant with out diners, we decided to switch it up and try out green beans. They were so simple and quick to make, with flavor to boost, these will surely be making a comeback.

Spicy Green Beans

  • 2 cups green beans, ends snapped off
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp margarine
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp lemon pepper
  • Pinch of salt

Bring a medium bowl of water to a boil. add green brand and cook for 3 minutes.

Meanwhile, great the olive oil and buyer in a large skillet over medium great until butter is melted.  

Add the cooked green beans and toss until coated.

Add spices, toss to coat and serve warm.
