Adobo Bacon Ranch Dip

This party appetizer is the perfect mix of your standard ranch dip with a smoke-y flavor added from the chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Then once it is topped with crumbled bacon, how can you resist. Get your chips out and get ready for this to disappear at your next holiday party.

Adobo Bacon Ranch Dip

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. low-fat sour cream
  • 8 oz. plain Chobani greek yogurt
  • 1 package ranch dip seasoning
  • 4 chipotle in adobo peppers, minced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
In a medium bowl, whisk together the sour cream, yogurt, and ranch packet.

Microwave turkey bacon until crispy, about 90 seconds.  When cool, chop into small pieces. Stir 1/2 of the bacon into the sour cream/yogurt/ranch mixture.

Now add the minced peppers and mix well into the dip. Sprinkle the remaining bacon on top and serve immediately or store in the fridge for a couple of hours to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve with chips.

  1. Point of Clarification: Explain the Adobo peppers? are those the specific peppers to buy?

    1. Yes, you can find chipolte peppers in adobo sauce in the latin food section at your local grocery store. They come in a small can.
