HDFB Recap: Wine Tasting in Napa

How Merlot can you go? That was one of the many themes of the bachelorette weekend that I just got home from late last night. To celebrate the nuptials to be for my friends Amanda and Jordan, us girls took off to Sonoma and Napa, California where the wine was flowing aplenty and there were no shortage of laughs either. We rented a house in Sonoma, which was perfect for 9 girls, complete with a wrap around patio, fire pit, tree house, and huge common areas where we could all gather before heading out for the day. We stopped at some gorgeous grounds to have wine on Saturday, starting with Mumm Napa, where we all sampled the Holiday Collection (my favorite was the sparkling Pinot Noir). Our limo driver Bruce then swiftly took us to St. Supery and sampled on different wines from their multiple tasting menus. We propped ourselves up on the patio and enjoyed the warm fall day to relax before heading to our third and final stop of the day. We ended our tour of wine country at Napa Cellars, where one of my favorite and easily accessible wines, Menage e Trois, is distributed. We brought a picnic and ate lunch while we took probably a few too many pictures, before saying goodbye to the vines. Here a are a few of said pictures to commemorate this weekend.
