Quick Protein Pumpkin Oatmeal


The new year is already in full swing and that means 1 thing for 99% of America. Lose weight. Isn't that like the number one new years resolution to ever have been made? In any case, this quick breakfast will fill you up without filling your jeans with added weight. Plus it keeps you fuller, longer, and hopefully you won't find yourself reaching for the leftover holiday cookies.

Protein Pumpkin Oatmeal

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 2 tbsp. plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin purée
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 tbsp agave nectar
  • 1 tap. Pumpkin pie spice 
  • 1/4 tap vanilla extract
  • Chia seeds for sprinkling 
Combine all ingredients in a small pot (except the chia seeds). Turn to medium/high heat and cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently until he oatmeal has thickened. Sprinkle with chia seeds and enjoy.
