After a long day, it's always nice to come home and pour an ice cold cocktail. My boyfriend and I decided to get a little creative in the kitchen and shake up some new drinks using some of our fun tools that we bought for our dry bar in our house. I also got some Hella Bitters from the Williams Sonoma sale at work, so that was fun to use! First up on the menu, this bitters gimlet. The citrus from both the gin and the bitters were refreshing, and made us feel like it was summer time again.
Bitters Gimlet
Ingredients:
Makes 1 gimlet
- 2.5 oz. gin (I used Tanqueray Ten)
- .75 oz. fresh lime juice
- .5 oz. simple syrup
- 2 dashes Hella Bitters citrus
- splash of club soda
Combine all ingredients except for the club soda into a cocktail shaker. Shake well. Pour over ice and top with a splash of club soda. Enjoy!
