Taco Seasoning

There are usually 3 reasons why people buy those taco seasoning packets at the grocery store. They are cheap, they taste good, and they are convenient. Here's the catch, making your own seasoning "packet" with spices that you already have in your cabinet is also cheap, tastes good, and is even more convenient than having to go to the store and buy it!! Bonus? There isn't 1000s of mg of added sodium in your homemade seasoning like those packets contain. So next time you're having tacos at home, ditch the packet, and use what you already have in your house!

Taco Seasoning

Ingredients:
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
Mix all the spices together and keep safe in an air tight container. Use as needed.
