Normally "Hot Dog" is focused mainly on food... but today is an exception. With the 4th of July coming up I thought I would share with you my recent DIY project; American Flag shorts. They took me all of about 30 minutes from start to finish and they will definitely be coming in handy with all of the 4th of July, Olympics, and summer themed get-togethers this summer.
On the other side of the shorts, place the star stickers sporadically, or in a pattern (this is your design, have fun with it).
On the side with the stripes, paint the denim with red paint. Do two coats if necessary. While it's still wet, dust with glitter.
Wash your paint brush. On the star side, paint the denim blue. Do two coats if necessary. While it's still wet, dust with glitter.
Let them dry for at least 10 minutes before removing the tape.
Enjoy!!
