Peanut Butter Cup Blondies

Reese's Peanut Butter cups in the batter. Reese's Peanut Butter cups on top. All wrapped up in a blondie. YUM. You can thank my good friend and basemate Kris for this masterpiece. Just don't forget the milk!

Peanut Butter Cup Blondies

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/8 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 9 regular size Reese's PB cups, chopped into fourths (6 will be in batter, 3 will go on top)
Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and kosher salt.

In a stand mixer mix together the sugar, butter, and vanilla. Add in the egg and mix.

Slowly add the dry ingredients until almost combined. Take a spatula and fold the ingredients together.

Throw 6 of the chopped Reese's cups into the bondie batter and fold them in. Spread the batter evenly in the lightly greased 8x8 pan.

Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees F. During the last 5 minutes of baking, press the remaining 3 Reese's PB cups into the blondies. Bake for final 5 minutes.

Cool completely on a cooling rack and then cut into squares.
