Chai Banana Smoothie

You're up on a Tuesday morning, you've already hit the gym, feeling good, but then you look at the time, and have only 20 minutes to shower, eat, and get to work. This is a typical Tuesday for me at least. But thankfully I have a batch of chai tea ice cubes in the freezer, a banana on the counter, and some milk in the fridge. It's a great addition to my morning.

Chai Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tbsp. instant chai tea mix
  • 1 large banana
  • 1 cup milk
  • dash of cinnamon
  • dash of nutmeg
Add the chai tea powder to the boiling water and mix, remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Pour the tea into ice cube trays and freeze. Combine the ice cubes and the remaining ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
